The Stardew Valley Fall Fishing update was released in October 2017 and included new fish caught in the river and ponds. Players can also catch more fish than before with the update, making it easier to gather resources for their farms.
However, the Fall is one of the most popular seasons in Stardew Valley. The weather is more relaxed, the season is full of seasonal events, and the fish are running.
Where and When to Catch Fish
The Stardew Valley fishing mini-game is a great way to make some extra money and find some of the best catches in the game. This guide will show you where and when to catch fish, what bait to use, how to upgrade your fishing pole, and how to catch different types of fish.
Listed below are the fish you can catch in Stardew Valley during the Fall season. These categories have been broken down this way to make it easier to look at the current season and what you can catch. Even though there are several more spots with exclusive fish, this article is focused mainly on four fishing spots.
We have provided you with the following information about fish times and weather so you can catch every fish and complete your bundles. When it comes to time, the 2nd number represents the cutoff; for example, 6 AM to 7 PM indicates the fish will no longer be available at 7:00.
Fish caught late at night or early in the morning can be those that start with late times and end with late times.
